Maccasio, born Sherif Abdul Majeed on April 6, 1995, is a Tamale-based Ghanaian rapper, singer, and songwriter. Known by the nickname "The King of Rap", he blends his native Dagbani language with English, delivering energetic performances that have earned him a massive fan base known as the 69 Fans.
From his breakout song Dagomba Girl featuring Mugeez to sold-out concerts in Tamale and Accra, Maccasio is one of the biggest icons of Northern Ghanaian music.

Sherif Abdul Majeed was born and raised in Tamale, Northern Region of Ghana. He attended Bagabaga Primary and JHS and later studied Home Economics at Savelegu Senior High School. After high school, he pursued music full-time, inspired by his childhood passion for performing.
